Priced at €12 the outdoor yoga classes take place Monday to Friday from 7pm and 10am over the weekend
Now that the evenings are longer, brighter and warmer, there’s no better time to embrace outdoor yoga than during summer.
Fresh air encourages us to breathe deeply which helps our brains function better and clearer. Being in a relaxed setting outdside practising yoga is where we reset, recharge, and refocus the mind and body.
With the above in mind, the wonderful Maura Rath is taking her Yoga with Maura classes from the studio to the lawn of Newtownsmith open space in Sandycove, Dun Laoghaire.
The location is in front of the giant shell which has the most beautiful sea views and if you’re lucky, blue skies too. If it rains, don’t worry, Maura’s studio is just around the corner and in this instance the yoga practice will take place there.
The classes run from Monday to Friday at 7pm and are 45 minutes long followed by an optional sea-swim afterwards. During the weekend, classes run at 10am every Saturday and Sunday and at 10am on a bank holiday.
Booking is essential and can be booked via the 'Yoga with Maura App' with no booking fee applied. Drop in classes are €12 or a course of 8 classes is €59 - membership can be purchased on the Yoga with Maura app. Participants must bring their own mats and parking is available nearby.
Bookings can also be made via Eventbrite here
